MTEA Executive Board Positions Available   There are three vacant positions on the MTEA Executive Board: a 6 year term for an Intermediate representative (for 4th, 5th and 6th grade teachers), a 2 year term at the same level and a 4 year term for a Kindergarten Primary representative (for K3 through 3rd grade teachers). WIABE firmly believes that only enrichment (additive) forms of bilingual education ensure that language minority students are successful academically and develop age-appropriate English proficiency while, at the same time maintain a sense of pride in culture and diversity.
